SEOwer User Guide

The SEO audit in Google Docs

SEOwer is a tool designed to analyze your texts in real time within Google Docs and offer you precise recommendations to improve your web positioning and the quality of your writing. Below we explain how to use each section of the panel to get the most out of your articles.

The performance radar at the top

The top part of the panel is always visible and works as your overall health monitor.

Organic radar chart

This central figure evaluates your article's balance across four key areas: technical SEO, structure, artificial intelligence optimization, and readability. When you press the audit button, the colored area will expand toward the edges. Your goal is to achieve the most expanded and balanced shape possible and reach an overall blue score that indicates excellence.

Word counter

Just below the radar you'll see a small badge that updates in real time. It will help you control the length of your document and ensure you meet the ideal length for your topic.

Data tab

This is the first tab you should visit before starting to write. Here you define the settings the system will use to analyze your text.

Main and secondary keywords

Write the exact term you want to position your article for in the first box. In the second box you can add a complementary term. The tool will search for these words and their natural variations throughout your document to check if the density is correct.

LSI entities and the magic wand

LSI words are related terms that give richness to your text. If you write about cars, you should include words like engine, wheels, or road. If you don't know which words to use, click the magic wand icon. When you do this, the tool will automatically copy an advanced instruction or prompt to your clipboard. Just go to ChatGPT or Gemini, paste that text, and the artificial intelligence will return the best LSI words for your sector. Copy and paste them into this box, separated by commas.

Google result preview

In this block you should write your advertising title, meta description, and URL for your article. You'll be able to see in real time how your link will look in the search engine. These fields also include the magic wand icon in case you need the artificial intelligence to generate persuasive ideas for you. Below each text box you'll see a color bar. You should adjust the length of your sentences by writing or deleting letters until that bar turns green, thus ensuring a perfect size.

Audit button

Once you've filled in your data and have a block of text written in your document, press this button. The system will read your writing and display the results in the following tabs.

SEO tab

Here you'll find the technical result of the audit. It is divided into expandable blocks and your mission is to correct the text to turn all red or orange alerts into green success icons.

SEO power points

This section reviews whether you've placed your main keyword in the most important places. It will warn you if you've forgotten to include it in the title, meta description, URL, or first paragraph of your text. If your titles are too long or too short, tags will appear indicating exactly how many characters you need to modify.

Structure

This section analyzes the internal health of your document. It will warn you if you're repeating the keyword too many times so you can delete some and avoid penalties for over-optimization. It also reviews your subtitles to ensure they have a logical order and will remind you that you should add links to other pages and include images, making sure they have their alt text filled in.

Artificial intelligence

This block prepares your text for the new generative searches. Here you'll see an interactive list with all the LSI words you introduced in the data tab. The main functionality is that you can click on these words to hide them from the list as you include them in your writing. Additionally, the system will check if you've created tables, bulleted lists, or summary paragraphs that facilitate reading for Google robots.

Plugin estimates

At the end of the SEO tab you'll see a mathematical approximation of the score you'd get if you passed the same text through the popular WordPress plugins: Rank Math and Yoast SEO.

Tone tab

While the previous section caters to the robots, this tab ensures your text is pleasant for human readers.

Readability and difficulty score

You'll see a large score out of one hundred that evaluates the fluency of your writing. Below, the Flesch index will indicate through text whether your document is too technical and complex to read or, on the contrary, is accessible to the general public.

Voice tone and naturalness

The bar system will show you if you're using a very formal, balanced, or casual tone. Additionally, the naturalness index will scan your text for robotic patterns. It will give you practical recommendations to improve the user experience, such as shortening very dense paragraphs, adding transition words, or highlighting important ideas using bold.

HTML tab

This is the final stop in your workflow. It serves to take your text to your website in the cleanest way possible.

Copy clean code

When your text is perfect, press the button in this tab. The tool will extract all your content while maintaining bold, headings, and lists, but it will transform it into pure HTML code and save it to your clipboard. Then, go to your WordPress editor, open the code or HTML block view and paste it. This way you'll avoid carrying strange formats or hidden garbage code typical of Google Docs, improving your website's speed.

Configuration menu

In the upper right corner, next to the tool's logo, you'll find a button with three lines.

Language change and support

By deploying this menu you can change the tool's language, adapting the recommendations and analysis to the rules of each country. You'll also find the button to send your feedback. When you click it, a secure form will open where, after accepting the legal notice, you can write to us directly to tell us what you think of the application or suggest new features.
